Organized in 1979, our recreational program is delivered by volunteer coaches and is at the heart of our mission and purpose to deliver the highest quality soccer programming to our community. Our programs are not just for the player with high school, college or professional aspirations. SKY Soccer Club utilizes the beautiful game of soccer to provide rewarding and fun experiences for all players. Our Recreational program is the largest in the state and our nearly 200 volunteer coaches foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play for kids of all ages and abilities. ​​​​​​​

The Purpose
To provide a positive & fun first soccer experience for boys & girls age 2-5 via age appropriate skills development.
The Facts
Our Pre-Academy program is a professionally designed and directed program delivered via our partnership with Mighty Kicks Southern Kentucky. As a key part of the SKY Player Pathway, the Pre-Academy program is for our youngest players, and provides kids a fun, positive, first soccer experience that progresses players each season and year to prepare them technically and mentally for our Junior Academy program. Players are taught skills and life lessons, while developing a love for the game under a player-first development framework, in alignment with the U.S. Soccer player development framework.

Our Pre-Academy GOAL MORNINGS Program is the same age and developmentally appropriate curriculum as the Pre-Academy Program, it just meets during the week in the morning (sessions are usually between 9am and 11am) rather than evenings and weekends. Goal Mornings participants are not divided into "teams", rather they practice as a group.
The Cost
$75 - includes a special Pre-Academy t-shirt that can be worn on game days! Shin guards and cleats are required for ages 4 and 5.

SKY Academy Select Soccer is the most competitive format for young soccer players. The primary objective is to develop players and teams as well as to win games.

The impact of youth sports on a player’s life can be significant. SKY Soccer Club’s culture and mission dictates the influence and development of kids as players and people. Our mission at SKY Soccer Club is to develop great players and people and enhance the community we serve. This is ingrained in all that we do. A college or professional scout will not ask how your player’s team finished in the “big” tournament. Instead, technical skill, tactical understanding, academics, maturity and community involvement, will be most important. Our goal is to influence the whole player through our culture and coaching.

US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training program for all athletes with intellectual, emotional, and or physical disabilities. The program strives to provide soccer opportunities (the opportunity of soccer) for players to develop at their own pace in a safe, fun, and supportive/inclusive environment.

Community Parks Program
The Purpose
The goal of the Parks Program is to bring high quality soccer to your neighborhood. We believe that soccer is the best introductory sport for young kids. We also know that sometimes it is difficult for families to get to our main facility at Lovers Lane Soccer Complex in Bowling Green or to commit to a full season of practices and games on multiple nights of the week. We created the Parks Program in cooperation with Warren County Parks and Recreation to reach communities that might not have easy access to soccer fields or soccer programs.
The Facts
Our unique curriculum includes 8 of our Mighty Kicks Life Skills lessons taught to each child each week. We believe in teaching kids more than just soccer! We believe in teaching kids virtues such as: working hard, listening, treating others with respect, and being kind. We think soccer is a great way to teach these important skills!
The Cost
$60 for 8 sessions. Includes a special Mighty Kicks/SKY Soccer t-shirt and end of season medal. Parents also receive access to parent resources to help support your young soccer player at home.
